Westcott House is an Anglican theological college in the heart of Cambridge, England, preparing men and women from Britain and around the world for ordination to the diaconate and priesthood. In addition to formation for the changing realities of parish ministry, we also provide pathways for theological educators and pioneer ministers. We offer continuing education resources and sabbatical opportunities for clergy and laity, as well as conference and meeting facilities.
Our community's life is framed and fashioned by a pattern of worship: the Eucharist and daily offices, through which we live and work together to serve God's mission of the Kingdom. We see three key dimensions to formation for ministry, which we sum up as growing in holiness, wisdom and compassion. Our rigorous integration of spiritual and personal development, theological learning and interpretation, and ministerial practice and reflection provides the foundation for a life of ministry and service in a changing world.
