Admissions![]() Our main purpose is to help men and women prepare for ordained ministry in the Church of England, but we also welcome a wide variety of people with other interests and backgrounds: ordinands from elsewhere in the Anglican communion and other denominations, lay students exploring theology and vocation, sabbatical visitors making the most of the resources for study and rest that Cambridge offers. If you would like to apply to Westcott House, please download the application form or e-mail us at admissions@westcott.cam.ac.uk Our normal pattern is to invite people to interview overnight on a Thursday/Friday during term. We are happy to make alternative arrangements for those based overseas. Candidate Visits and Open DaysTo experience the full life of the College, our usual pattern would be to invite you for an overnight stay at Westcott from late afternoon on the Thursday to lunchtime on the Friday, enabling you to attend our community evening, and have plenty of time for conversation with staff and ordinands. We will arrange for three meetings with staff, including an introduction to Westcott (usually with the Vice-Principal), an interview with a Tutor to explore what academic route would be best, and an interview with the Principal. You will also have the chance to discuss accommodation with the House Manager. Michaelmas Term interviews 2011 Lent Term interviews 2012 Easter Term interviews 2012 Open DaysOur next two Open Days are on Saturday 27 October 2012 and Saturday 2 March 2013, which you are welcome to attend simply to find out more about Westcott or to be interviewed for admission.
