OrdinandsOrdination Training![]() For more than a century, Westcott House has served the Church and society by training priests for ministry in Anglican churches around the world. Our objective is to equip the Church's ministers with a robust faith, a deep-rooted spirituality and the intellectual rigour to relate the Christian gospel to a world of continuing change. For Anglican ordinands, Westcott offers all the benefits of residential theological education:
To find out more please follow the links to Formation, Courses, Common Life, and Worship. ![]() If you are a Church of England ordinand, you may wish to seek the advice of your Diocesan Director of Ordinands about the best time to apply. We normally see people shortly after or shortly before their Bishops’ Advisory Panel. Further information about ministry in the Church of England is available at http://www.cofe-ministry.org.uk/ (new window). If you are an ordinand from elsewhere in the Anglican Communion, we will normally need to know that you have been approved to begin training by whatever procedures are normal for your Province and/or Diocese. We are able to provide training for ordinands from other denominations (especially from the Lutheran churches which are part of the Porvoo or Meissen agreements). If you are interested, please get in touch and we will discover what is possible. If you would like to have a prospectus and application form, please email us at admissions@westcott.cam.ac.uk |
