The Church and the Jews: Historical and Pastoral Perspectives

Wednesday 22nd February 2017: 10.00am - 4.00pm

The church has a long and often shameful history of using scripture to fuel antisemitic feeling and action. Led by two scholar-priests with a wealth of academic, practical and pastoral experience in the area, this study day invites participants to re-learn this history, and learn from it, raising current questions about how churches relate to Jewish members of their local communities, and how we can preach Holy Week without our language perpetuating the church's past sins.
