Please see the resources pages for information about the Westcott Conference due to take place in 2009. Conferences“On behalf of the Anglican-Lutheran Society, I want to thank you for all you did to make our International Conference such a success. We could not have asked for a better venue than Westcott House. We were all made to feel at home and the food and accommodations were excellent. The location is also superb, as you well know. Best of all was the wonderful hospitality you showed to us. We are especially grateful to Liz Gordon for organizing all the arrangements and for ensuring our conference delegates were given a five star treatment” The Reverend Ronald T. Englund (The Anglican-Lutheran Society) ![]() Westcott House is an idyllic location in which to host your residential course or conference. We are able to offer simple low-priced accommodation to groups as well as top-class catering facilities. Whether your gathering is formal, or an opportunity for colleagues to spend time together, Westcott House offers you and your delegates a traditional college experience at the heart of the historic city of Cambridge. We can provide accommodation for up to 40 delegates in single occupancy rooms which can be adapted should spouses or partners wish to visit. All rooms have washbasins. Shared bathrooms, showers, lavatories and tea making facilities are available on each staircase. “Westcott House is like no other conference venue – we felt like welcome friends rather than just paying customers. Everyone at Westcott is wonderfully efficient and helpful, going way beyond the call of duty to accommodate even the most difficult request. It’s a beautiful place in every way” Dr Adam Smith of the American Teacher’s Seminar (Oxbridge Programmes) There is a well-equipped lecture room and a large seminar room that can be arranged in various combinations to meet your requirements. We also have a number of other rooms which can be used for smaller discussion groups or meetings. The College has a common room, leading out to a large terrace, where morning coffee and afternoon tea can be served. This room also has bar facilities where guests can meet for pre-dinner drinks on the terrace or relax and socialize in the evening. The personal support of an experienced Conference Manager, combined with a dedicated team of staff, will ensure that conferences are not only run efficiently but are a great success – that is why many conference groups return to Westcott House year after year! ![]() If you would like to discuss your conference requirements, please contact: Mrs Liz Gordon: House Manager & Conference Manager |
