Overseas Links
Westcott House is an international community, with students from churches overseas studying here through a range of exchange programmes. We also have students each year from Hong Kong and South Africa on bursary schemes. We encourage students wherever possible to spend some time overseas during their training. There are many opportunities to explore:
- Thriving exchange programmes with Yale Divinity School and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in the USA
- A semester at the Venerable English College in Rome or the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey in Switzerland
- Courses in contextual theology at the College of the Transfiguration, Grahamstown, South Africa
- A regular study tour to the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem.
- Placement with the Delhi Brotherhood (which Bishop Westcott helped establish)
- Formal and informal placements all over the world
