Glimpses of God CD

At Pentecost 2005 the students of Westcott House launched a CD, Glimpses of God, containing spoken reflections coupled with choral or instrumental music. In their own words and voices ten students describe the ways in which they have encountered God in the colourful mess of their lives, in situations as varied as dancing, death, divorce and breastfeeding. They also highlight the ways in which they have been changed by those unexpected encounters. Music has been specially selected and recorded to complement the words, ranging from the Orthodox Divine Liturgy and Taizé chants to jazz improvisation.

The purpose of the CD is to help listeners discern the ways in which God may have worked - and may still be at work - in their lives. Glimpses of God is a rich resource for all who seek to respond to God's call, and will serve as an aid to reflection and devotion.
