Studying Theology![]() Theological conversation is a thread running through students' informal encounters over meals, in the bar, and walking to classes. This easy and natural process supports the academic study of theology and the integration of what students learn in the classroom into their daily lives. Along with the pattern of daily prayer, the students' conversation creates an atmosphere that is very conducive to developing the aptitudes to think and act theologically. Individuals undertake courses of academic study according to their own needs and objectives. We offer a wide range of courses to suit different learning styles and experience. Degrees and certificates are awarded by our two partner universities, Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University. For Church of England ordinands, the choice of degree programme is in part determined by the Church’s requirements. The Director of Studies guides ordinands through the choices they need to make. Independent students may register for any of the programmes which we offer. Their choice of individual modules will determined by their own objectives, subject to the regulations of the programme for which they are accepted. |
