Federation Worship

Students and staff at Westcott House spend a great deal of their time engaged with other members of the Cambridge Theological Federation – in lectures, in libraries and in tutorials. But the most important time we spend together is once each fortnight at united Federation Worship.

Usually every other Tuesday in term time we meet together in Cambridge's Wesley Church for a service of worship led by one or more of the Federation's Houses. This can lead to a wide variety of worship experiences; from Orthodox vespers to charismatic evangelical communion to Roman to remembrances of the Holocaust led by the Centre for Jewish Christian Relations.

Federation Worship isn't always easy; it's not always to everyone's "taste". But it's a continuing reminder to us that we are just parts of an entity, the Church of God that is broader, stronger, richer and deeper than anything we can possibly imagine from our own denominational outlooks.
