Vice Principal (1.0 FTE)

Westcott House is seeking to appoint a Vice Principal to take up post from 1 September 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter, following the appointment of the Revd Dr Paul Dominiak as Senior Tutor of Jesus College, University of Cambridge.

The Vice Principal will work closely with the Principal in the leadership of the college, including by deputising for her when necessary, and have particularly responsibility for the line management of the tutorial staff, the teaching and learning strategy for ministerial formation, for quality assurance, and for admissions. As a lecturer the Vice Principal teaches students on Durham University (Common Awards) and Cambridge University (BTh) pathways at Westcott House and in the wider Cambridge Theological Federation (CTF), may prospectively teach on Anglia Ruskin University Awards offered by the CTF in the future, and contributes to wider teaching as required. Applicants are welcome to offer any relevant teaching specialism. Opportunities to offer doctoral level supervision may be available for suitably qualified candidates. The Vice Principal shares in the worshipping life of Westcott House, including in leading worship and preaching, and has a significant ministry of presence in the community.
