Built around a beautiful private garden, the main buildings of Westcott are noble examples of a late Victorian Arts and Crafts style. Our location is unrivalled. Situated in the heart of the city of Cambridge, you will find all the facilities and opportunities Cambridge has to offer on your doorstep.
Accommodation for Single and Unaccompanied Students
Students who live in College are offered either a single room or a set (study and bedroom) in Old Court. Each staircase has shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. All rooms have unlimited broadband access.
A limited number of students may be resident all year round (Permanent Residents) or from September - June (Semi-permanent Residents). Candidates sponsored by the Church of England will need to agree the additional costs associated with permanent residence with their DDO.
Accommodation for Married Students
The College has a number of one, two, and three bedroom flats onsite. Students may choose to rent accommodation privately in the city. A study space, with unlimited broadband access, is provided onsite.
There is a very bouyant rental market here in Cambridge. There is a huge rental market and (unsurprisingly) lots of accommodation renews in September in line with the academic year.
Please note that the college is unable to find or rent accommodation on behalf of students. We are also unable to view properties on behalf of students.
If you are studying for a Cambridge University degree you can register with their accommodation service which is really useful. www.accommodation.cam.ac.uk/
The other useful website is rightmove. www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent.html Most of our students who live off-site find their accommodation from rightmove.
Meals are provided Monday - Friday during term-time. Students with partners and/or children resident in Cambridge are entitled to a meal allowance of 12 meals per week to use between you as you decide. We want to encourage your family to feel part of our community.
There is a great bar onsite, which is managed by the members of the Common Room.
Kitchens are provided in the accommodation blocks. Students are encouraged to cook for themselves at weekends and during vacations.
Washing machines and tumble dryers are available for use.
Car parking onsite is limited. Parking permits are issued by the Events and Accommodation Manager. There is a large bike shed and students are encouraged to bring a bicycle.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate pets onsite.
