In her role as Finance Officer, Lena assists the Director of Finance in the smooth and effective operation of the College’s finance function. She ensures financial controls and reporting systems are maintained to a high regulatory standard.

An expert and professional researcher in the field of finance, management and sustainable development, Lena has published over 130 articles in the field of finance and management and is the author of the monograph Management of Resource Conservation and Energy Efficiency on the Principles of the Sustainable Development Concept (2022).

A graduate from a university in Ukraine, Lena has a PhD in Management and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing. She is currently obtaining an AAT qualification to fully integrate into the UK professional environment.

Lena is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), member of the Association of Sustainability Practitioners (ASP) and a member of the Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB).

When not at work, Lena loves to spend time with family and friends, playing active games (badminton), nature walks, opera and the theatre.
