Leave a Legacy

Leaving a gift in your will is one of the most precious gifts you can make. Legacies matter and not just financially. The life of the House is a vibrant one, that leaves an indelible mark on those who spend time as part of our community. When one of our community includes us in their will, it sends a powerful signal and challenges us to continue our tradition of excellence in the modern world.

We are extremely grateful to those who have chosen to remember Westcott House in their Will. Deciding to support Westcott House and its community by leaving a bequest will help continue Westcott’s contribution to the ministry of the Church and secures the education and formation for the ministries of future generations. Please see our Legacy Leaflet with information on the ways your legacy can make a difference.

If you have included Westcott in your Will and are content to let us know, this will enable us to thank you for your support and help us to plan for the future. All information is treated in confidence and is not legally binding. To notify us, please contact communications@westcott.cam.ac.uk.

Leaving a gift in your Will is a private matter and it is important that any changes should be done in consultation with your family and Solicitor. We have prepared some guidance including a set of wordings in our Legacy Information Leaflet if you wish to include a clause in your Will to benefit the College.

For our alumni and friends in the US who wish to support Westcott House through an estate plan, it might be helpful to know that you are able to do so through Cambridge in America.

If you would like to further discuss leaving the College a bequest and explore how your gift can help the development of the College, please contact the Administration and Communications Manager on communications@westcott.cam.ac.uk who will arrange for the most appropriate person to be in touch.
