Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022)

The community at Westcott House has heard with deep sorrow of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Speaking on behalf of the students, staff and of the College, Westcott Principal the Revd Dr Helen Dawes said: We have so often given thanks for the deep Christian faith of Her Majesty the Queen and have been inspired by her example of dedicated service to her people. Tonight we continue to give thanks to God for her life as we mourn her death. We hold the Royal Family and all who mourn Her Majesty’s death on our hearts and pray that they might find comfort and peace. We pray too for King Charles III and for the Queen Consort, that they may know God’s presence now and in the days to come
